It's such a beautiful dishes....I love the pink roses on the center of the plate...... Dee has more collections...that I will show next time. It's came from Germany.
Dee has display her collections in this beautiful cabinet. This cabinet is made out of a window panel and old restore wood. My friend Rose husband (Walter) built this cabinet. "Outdoor Wednesday"

Here we are again on "Outdoor Wednesday". If you would like to know about "Outdoor Wednesday"....Click on the picture above to "Outdoor Wednesday" ~ we post something about outside. Thank you Susan for presenting this event. I have really enjoyed reading everone post and also meeting new friends.
I have plan to tell ya'll about my favorite place in the summer...but decided I will post it next week. I wanted to share about what I did yesterday. Yesterday was a beautiful day....It was partly cloudy, breezy, and 74 degrees. Yes it was....I thought about ya'll who are in the cold/wintry storm. That I wish ya'll could have been with me to enjoy the sunshine/warm weather. It was beautiful to go play outside or enjoy sitting on the porch. Well...after our prayer meeting at the church yesterday morning. We decided to go eat lunch first...then go see our homebound members at the nursing home. We first saw Ms Tressie....she is always happy and smiling. We told her that it was so pretty and nice outside...soooo she wanted to go out. We took her out on the porch....and we sat out on the rocking chair......Enjoying the beautiful yard. We all was just enjoying every minute of it because today was going to be in the 40s. We have had crazy weather here. A pretty yard in front of us....while we were sitting on the porch and rocking in the rocking chair. It's so peaceful there. Beautiful place and people was so nice and friendly. I don't usually like to go to the nursing just make me sad...but this one...was a great place..
Ms. Tressie is sitting down in her wheelchair....Ms. Elizabeth on the left side and I'm on the right.(bad hair day) LOL
Ms Tressie love to wear hats...she is so Cute in hats.
Dee (my true friend) is sitting behind me...we looks happy...LOL I wonder why?.....It's a Beautiful day! So...we had to take Ms Tressie back to her room and went to visit.....Ms JeanetteMs Jeanette is bed ridden. Look at her....she is smiling like a sunshine. She sooo sweet. ..
Had a great day with Ms Tressie and Ms Jeanette.Got home about 2:30....decide to prune my roses....while it was still warm. And I found a bud on the rose bush that on my porch in the pot. The roses is thinking it Spring is I said...the weather been crazy! would be 70s one day and the next it would be in 30 and 40. No wonder the roses trying to bud. It don't know what to do...Oh my...maybe it will be okay. After I got through playing in the yard...I sat on my bench to enjoy hearing the birds singing....then I heard ducks quackling- quack in the pond.......across the street at my neighbor.
I'm sitting on my porch on the bench...and looking straight ahead....and this is what I'm seeing...It's just beautiful and peaceful. Look at the reflextion on the's just beautiful. Well....I don't see them in the pond.....can't see well anyway. But I keep hearing them playing and quackling - quack. They are sooo cute. One day I'll go over there and take their pictures. Then I look at the was so pretty to me....the sun peeping out of the cloud and I knew that the storm is coming....last night it started to rain..and turning cold. So long the beautiful day was a memory....but one day Spring will be here. I hope I didn't bored ya'll. I hope ya'll enjoyed it.

Remember to go to view the "Outdoor Wednesday". You will enjoy her Outdoor post and other participants too! Ya'll Come Back Now!!

Under the weather...

I am under the weather since Sunday morning. I haven't been feeling the greatest for about 2 weeks. My personality is to keep on going...I'm the type of person that don't lay around. I decided to go to the doctor after not having a good night sleep (back pain). The doctor said I have a bad bladder infection. Thought I was drinking plenty of water...but not enough. I'm letting you all know that I going to take a break until Wed. on blogging. Having back pain sitting in the chair too long is uncomfortable. I going to take a good rest and take care of myself, And also drink...drink plentyof water. Thank you all for stopping by and I will get back to you as soon as I feel better. Come back Wed. for "Outdoor Wednesday"...Keep me in your prayers. May the Lord bless you today...and this week.

"Hopeful Friday"

Cielo @ The House In The Roses hosted "Hopeful Friday". She hosted this event every Friday to share inspirational post. Take a visit to Cielo @ The House In The Roses . Thank you for stopping by.....

I am sharing this story and poem about Unfolding Rose.
He has a beatuiful plan for our life like the beautiful rose He created.......

Unfolding Rose

A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day and feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was inquiring of the older preacher. The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals. The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the WILL OF GOD for his life and for his ministry. Because of his high respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to TRY to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact...It wasn't long before he realized how impossible it was to do so.Noticing the younger preacher's inability to unfold the rosebud while keeping it intact, the older preacher began to recite the following poem...

(photo: My Red Rose...Summer 2008)

It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God's design,
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.-

The secret of unfolding flowersIs not known to such as I,
The flower God opens so sweetly,
my hands would fade and die.-

I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of God's design,
Then how can I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?-

I'll trust Him for His leading
Each moment of every day
And I'll look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.-

For the pathway that lies before me
My heavenly Father knows
I'll trust Him to unfold the moments
Just as He unfolds the rose.~Anonymous.

Thank you all for stopping by.....sending you my prayers to you all that the Lord will be with you always.
I have a unspoken prayer request today at 11:00 (appt.). I will visit you all when I get back from out of town. Bless you all!
