"Pink Saturday"

It's "Pink Saturday"Thank you Beverly for hosted this fun event. Click on the picture above to visit Beverly and the participants who is sharing their PINK.....
My contribution on Pink Saturday is about my friend Dee beautiful dishes. This sets of dishes was given as a gift by her grandmother. It did not have no mark.. Don't know what the name of it or where her grandmother has gotten them. Dee said, she think her grandmother collected them from inside the detergent soap or bought it when the grocery store have it on display. Do anybody have these dishes? Would like to hear from you! It's such a beautiful dishes....I love the pink roses on the center of the plate...... Dee has more collections...that I will show next time. It's came from Germany.
Dee has display her collections in this beautiful cabinet. This cabinet is made out of a window panel and old restore wood. My friend Rose husband (Walter) built this cabinet. Rose and Walter can turn trash into a treasure. They are so talented. Go visit Rose at Sugarplum Cottage. She is also having a HEART-GIVE -AWAY
The deadline for drawing is Feb. 6th. So hurry to visit and enter the give-away.
Don't forget to go visit Beverly and others participants with their PINK
Have A Wonderful Day!

  11. Those dishes are beautiful. It's really nice that she has an entire set...I just love it when people can take "trash & make it into treasure", just as you mentioned. What a great gift.

  17. I still love those dishes! Funny how we just do not read profiles, not knowing someone is living close to us. I been to Laurel so so many times. I went every year, south of Laurel to Landrum to spin and weave, each Saturday after Thanksgiving. We took a job that took us from Home, for five years. If I ever get through my surgeries, we may go back. May is the word, for now life is so much more than working. We are planning a few things, so we may get to stay home. Even though the company wants us back. I live Northeast of Jackson, about 45 min. and one hour west of Meridan, Laurel is about 2 hour drive. We were in Taylorsville after Christmas, which is near an hour from Laurel. I have eaten at the Shoney's there many of times. Came thru Laurel so many times while working. I live in the country middle of no where! lol A church and country store, Moved here in 1991 from just outside Jackson. City girl gone country! lol

  18. Hi Katherineellen!
making my way to the Pink Saturday girls that I couldn't get to. Wow, it has taken me three days to leave 147 comments but I didn't want to leave anyone out! This has been so much fun!

Those are the most beautiful plates I've ever seen. I don't recognize the pattern or what company may have produced it but it sure is lovely.

Thanks for a wonderful Pink Saturday!
    Deanna :)
