Watching the Tropical Storm Fay
We are watching out for Fay.......About this time 3 years ago....we were the most important day of my daughter life. We were planning her wedding that we have been prepared for 10 months. On August 29th; the Hurricane Katrina came at the wrong time. With the Lord helps; we made it. We almost had to postponed it but we finally got the electricity after 15 days. There were still some places in our city and other area of Mississippi that still didn't have electricity, home damaged, no homes to stay...and more. It was a disaster zone. But my daughter did not want to cancel so we went on with the wedding. The weekends of her wedding....here come Hurricane Rita that hits Texas coast....Oh MY! Well we got the storm from it as it pass across LA,MS,TN,Al, GA,SC,NC...other states. The day of the wedding; Hurricane Rita became a tropical storm and came through our area. The wedding went on....the light flicker on and off 3 times during the wedding.. But we just kept doing the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful even though it was stormy outside...... She was a Beautiful Bride. They had planned to go to Gulf Coast for the honeymoon but the gulfcoast was WIPE OUT! So they changed the plan to go to Clarko State Park for the honeymoon close to Meridian. They stay in a cozy little cabin......the night of the honeymoon...there were a tornado warning twice there. They just did not have any good luck....but the main thing the Lord was always by their side. Today we are watching Tropical Fay....don't know what she is going to do. Well, it will be almost 3 yrs. of my daughter and son-in-law anniversary on Sept.24th. They had planned to leave today to go to our favorite place...Gulfshores, AL. But they canceled. They decided to go to Gulfcoast in MS...closer to home. In case they need to come home earlier. We do need rain but no flooding and strong winds....We still have loose trees...frome Hurrcane Katrina in South & Central Mississippi. .I request to keep all the people of FL,SC,GA,Al,LA and MS in your prayers... I want to Thank You all for your sweet get well notes....I'm much much better. Love you all blog friends...I'm blessed to have you all. I'm off to Hattiesburg to go shopping....I will be back later and check your blog.....You all have a Fantastic Friday! Love you All! ~Kathy~.
